Strawberries!

So this morning Michelle and the kids were planning to go strawberry picking at Witt strawberry farm in Albertville. It didn't take too much convincing to get me to go and I knew it would be a good chance for some cute pictures. I was right...and as Jackson said, "this is blogalicious!" The kids had so much fun and it didn't take them long to fill their buckets. As you can see, Payne just loved eating the little red balls.

There's only one thing I can say about summer: BRING IT ON!

Jolie and Chris!

We had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Jolie and Chris last Saturday. The event was held at the beautiful First Baptist Church of Guntersville followed by a reception at Gunter's Landing. Jolie looked spectacular of course, and all the details were just beautiful. With a wedding like this, it would be hard not to get great images. You can see the slideshow for yourself by clicking here.

A Fun Day...

Yesterday I had a busy but fun day. First I woke up at 5:00 AM to go fishing with my father-in-law. We didn't catch much but we had a good time anyway. If anything, it gave me the fever to go buy a boat. After that I met the family over at Michelle's sister's house for swimming and burgers. Believe it or not, I haven't gotten sunburned yet. Later that evening, Michelle and the kids and I all went to our good friends' Kevin and Jessica's for a barbecue and a little game of "redneck hillbilly golf shoes." A lot of our friends were there and we all had a great time. It was such a fun-filled busy day that I almost forgot one thing: Do you know why I had so much fun? It was because of the countless numbers of soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice defending my freedom. Please let us never forget Memorial Day and what it really means to our nation.

A big week for a little girl...

Well first of all I'm a little behind in posting this, but I'm trying my best to catch up. On Saturday the 12th of May our little Sylvie had her very first dance recital. Of course her dad was too busy taking pictures of her to be able to actually watch the performance....but I'm told she did well. She has had such a great time taking clogging this year thanks to her teachers Ms. Jerika and Ms. Mary Evan. We will look forward to many more recitals to come.

The following Thursday, my little girl graduated from Kindergarten. She attended the First Baptist Church of Boaz kindergarten and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to Mrs. Sue and Mrs. Patty for running such a phenominal program, but special thanks to Mrs. Led and Mrs. Kelly for being two amazing teachers. Sylvie came home from school every day knowing that she was loved. Michelle and I appreciate the nurturing environment and we always knew that our daughter was very well cared for.

Melissa and Robi!

We had such a great time at Melissa and Robi's wedding. They are a super fun couple and so easy to work with. It's always such a pleasure to share in the special day of two people who are completely in love with one another. The images tell the story. You can see the slideshow by clicking here.
On a side note, the wedding was held at New Canaan Baptist church, where our dear friend Bro. Glenn Bruce is pastor. It was great to see him and his wife Beth along with their children Josh and Hannah. We are truly blessed to have such good friends...

Kristin and Chance!

We were very excited to have shared in Kristin and Chance's special day. The wedding was held at First Baptist Church of Albertville and everything was beautiful. Fortunately Kristin and Chance gave us the time we needed to capture some especially beautiful images. Thanks to them and their families for letting us be a part of their special occasion. For more images you can click here to view the slideshow.

Just call him "Doctor" Durham

Today our friend Spencer Durham will be graduating from Auburn University. He is receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy degree which is an amazing accomplishment. Spencer will be starting his residency at Children's hospital in Birmingham and we know that his parents couldn't be more proud. We are all proud in fact, and we know great things are ahead of him and we expect great things of him as well. We had the opportunity to go down over the weekend and capture a few images around the Auburn campus. I thought this one turned out especially well. Congratulations Spencer!

9 months old!

Can you believe it?

Jennifer and Kevin!

It was another windy day on Lake Guntersville, and Jennifer and Kevin's wedding turned out beautiful. At least it wasn't cold or rainy. The day turned out to be a lot of fun for us, and we got some great images. This is one of my favorites, but you can click here to see the slideshow!

Play in May!

Congratulations to the Boaz Pirate varsity baseball team. They advanced to the third round of the state playoffs and will play Haleyville this Friday for a chance to go to the semifinals. These guys and their coaches have worked hard this year and they deserve everything they get. I should also congratulate the Boaz Junior Varsity team for going undefeated and winning the county championship. GO PIRATES!
