Hot Chocolate!
Don't you just love hot chocolate? I do. Actually, I like WARM chocolate becuase HOT chocolate burns my mouth. Anyway, if you're reading this, I want to invite you to come and hang out at the studio this Friday and watch the Boaz Christmas parade. We're in a great location for the kids to catch candy, and if you get cold you can come inside and warm up. We'll be serving hot chocolate while it lasts, so get here early for a good parking space. The parade starts at 5:30!
By the way, while I was searching for this image, I found out that scientists from Cornell university have recently discovered that hot chocolate has more antioxidants than tea and red wine. Bonus! Here's the link to the article.
Sometimes I get lucky. I happened to get this image of Kennedy Price (who's only 3 weeks old) while shooting her family's Christmas portraits. She had the most perfect little smile while she was sleeping and I caught it just in time. I wonder what she was dreaming about...
Congratulations to our friends, Peter John and Cynthia Lambert who are welcoming their 3rd child, Anderson Thomas Lambert into the world. He actually is one week old today, so I got to meet him and do a few portraits. Isn't he a doll?
We are probably the only house in town that already has two Christmas trees up....but with good reason. We put ours up early because Santa always visits us this time of year. Santa portraits were Friday, and we had a blast. It's an all-day event and our kids think it's the coolest thing because Santa comes and spends the whole day at our house! As a kid, could it get any better than this? I couldn't remember ever having my portrait made with Santa as a kid, so I decided to get in on the action this year. I asked him if I had been good enough this year to get a new ipod, but he didn't really respond very favorably....
After the extended football season, basketball is finally here. I always enjoy shooting basketball, mainly because it's inside. Good luck to all Pirate basketball teams, and a quick shout out to the "Great 8" senior varsity gurlz...Karah, Sara, Amanda, Kasey, Miller, Turtle, Laura, and Leslie.
Payne is getting to hang out with me here at the studio today. I was a little nervous about keeping him by myself all day, but a quick trip to wal-mart for one of those baby gym things, plus a Baby Einstein DVD, and we're good to go.
One bottle, two diaper changes, and one nap. So far things are going well!
Hey! This isn't my real blog! This is just where I park my video slideshows so I can get them into iTunes. I know...it's complicated. I don't understand it myself. If you're looking for my real blog...go to http://www.bentleygray.net/blog
