Fall Fun!

It's no secret that fall is my favorite time of year. It just doesn't last long enough. With such a hectic schedule, it's always refreshing when I get the chance to get out and enjoy the weather and shoot some pictures just for fun. Another perfect wedding!

Well Saturday's weather was just beautiful for Mandy and Matt's wedding. The event was held at the Guntersville Hampton Inn at the courtyard which was decorated strikingly. We loved capturing all the little details but my favorite part were the M&Ms. Get it...Mandy & Matt...M&Ms...I love it!

So yesterday I had the best time. I got to meet my favorite author, Andy Andrews. He spoke at Snead State College and of course I was like the first one there. I felt a little dorky but at least I got a great seat. Andy and some friends were hanging around up there at the front so I just went ahead and asked him to sign my book, which he did, and also scored this photo. He seems like such a really nice guy and his presentation was amazing. If you missed it...well you missed it but if you ever get the chance to hear him speak, you should certainly go.

Andy Andrews!

I just got the coolest news. My favorite author, Andy Andrews is coming to Boaz. He'll be at the Snead State gym this Thursday, October 19 at 10:00 am and again at 7:00 pm. If you've never read any of his books, you owe it to yourself to check out The Traveler's Gift, which was on the New York Times best seller list forever. This book changed my entire outlook on life. My personal favorite however is The Lost Choice. Either way, you should certainly make plans to come hear him speak on Thursday. It will definitely be worth your time.

Well I'm officially old. One of my very first portrait clients, Colby Nicholson, turns 18 today. This is an image from our first session when he was 3 years old, along with a recent photo of Colby and myself at a football game that his mom took. Time flies for sure.

Blue Babes!

It's homecoming week here in Boaz. Tuesday I had the privilege of joining in the festivities by shooting some pictures at Spirit Olympics at the High School. These 19 seniors called themselves the "Blue Babes" and somehow managed to coordinate their outfits quite nicely.

I just wanted to give a quick shout out to: Nancy, Courtney, Lydia, Lindsey, Tracey, Callie, Jade, Leslie, Jennifer, Kristin, Kasey, Laura, Sara, Beth, Karah, Turtle, MC, Miller, and Emily. We love you guys! I hope I spelled your names right!
