Summer is over :(

Several people have been giving me a hard time for not posting anything new...so this is for you...you know who you are. I couldn't really think of anything significant to post today, but one thing is different...I'm wearing jeans for the first time in a long time. I guess since I'm not wearing shorts and flip-flops, summer is officially over. I hate to see it go, but it's been a good one.

Back to School!

Yesterday was the day that we dread all summer...the first day of school. Of course, my kids were excited. Jackson was ready at 6:45 and couldn't really understand that his teacher really didn't want him there that early. And Sylvie was pumped about being at a new school. This year, just like in years past, we are blessed with some great teachers...and we look forward to watching our kids learn and grow. As you can see in the photo, they are ready. This is always much harder on the parents...
